Need a Hand?
If there is anything you are unsure of or need a little more information or advice, please feel free to contact us anytime! We aim to get back to everyone within 24 hours. We can be contacted via Facebook, Instagram, our email southwestaxolotls@yahoo.com. Some of you also have mobile numbers so feel free to pop us a message anytime. If you haven’t got a number for us and would prefer to communicate via text or call please feel free to ask.
Postage and Couriers
Our postage costs will reflect the cost of 24 hour Special delivery tracked before 1pm shipping on the Royal mail website. We will only post, baby axolotls. If you are looking for an adult or rescue axolotl and need a courier please contact us for assistance and prices.
Please make sure that you are home in order to take receipt of your new water puppy, as we will not hold any responsibility for issues caused to your little one by you not been home to receive it.
In the unlikely event, your little one arrives dead we will ask for photographic evidence in the original packaging no later than 1 hour after arrival this will be rectified with either a replacement or a refund. We hold no responsibility for the welfare of your animals after the first 24 hours of them being in your care ❤️
If you have your eye on a particular little sausage then let us know and we can reserve him/her for you with a £5 deposit per axolotl. A particular animal will not be held without a deposit. The remainder of the cost will need to be paid on collection or the day prior to posting, we will contact you regarding this, as axolotls will not be posted until the full fee has been paid.
Once a reservation has been made, we will hold your axolotl for a maximum of 12 weeks, if this time lapses and we have not been made aware of any reasons for delaying your collection/delivery then the animal will be put back up for adoption and the deposit will not be refunded.
We are happy to hold an animal longer than 12 weeks providing regular communication is made. We reserve the right to put a limit on when the animal needs to be collected and in the unlikely event we need to take this approach you will be given 14 days notice in order to arrange collection or delivery.
Payments
We accept both Paypal and bank transfer payments. Cash is also accepted on collection ❤️
Your baby
Axolotls change ALOT as they grow, so if you purchase an axolotl from us and its colours change, whilst we will do our best to offer you an alternative (providing the axolotl hasn’t left us) this can not always be guaranteed and deposits are non-refundable so please bear this in mind.
Should you decide that you are no longer able to care for your axolotl, no matter what the reason, we are to be contacted to arrange for the axolotl to be bought back to us, for any treatments and to arrange rehoming.
Questions, questions and more questions.
We will ask questions, provide you with care advice and make sure that everything is in order and safe for the axolotl before releasing them into your care. Were not nagging, we just have the animals best interests at heart. It also works both ways though, as we welcome any questions you may have, as we want to assure our little ones go to the very best homes.
Once you have your new addition, remember you also still have us!. We are here to offer advice and assistance, receive pictures, for as long as you want us :)
